Intermittent low pressure in parts of Sutton until Friday

12 May 2021

Uisce Éireann working in partnership with Fingal County Council is continuing with essential works on the Howth Water Supply Scheme in order to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in the area in accordance with current COVID-19 restrictions.

Works are being delivered at Dungriffen reservoir at present. As a result of these works Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council wish to advise customers in Sutton Lawns, Sutton Park and the surrounding areas that they may experience low pressure from 2pm to 9pm daily until Friday 14 May 2021. Following the completion of these works, it may take 1-2 hours for normal water supply to be restored.

Uisce Éireann is continuing to work at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Uisce Éireann would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.

Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when customers experience low pressure and thanks customers for their patience while we complete works at Dungriffen reservoir. Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
