Improvement works in Farmers Bridge, Ashill, Lisardboula and Ballyfinane

Uisce Éireann wishes to advise customers in Firies, Ballyfinane, Castlemaine, Meanus, Riverville, Knockaneacoolteen, Breashagh, Ballygamboon Lower, Kiltallagh, Killeagh, Gortshanavogh, Parknasmuttaun, Dicks Grove, Dicks Grove, Dromroe, Ranalough, Cloonclough, Parknamulloge, Lisheenbaun, Killeentierna, Shanawillen, Ballybeg, Annamore, Dromulton, Coolnageragh, Bawnaskehy, Breahig, Ballynahalla, Craggaunoonia, Ballyplimoth, Leamydoody, Glanlahern, Ballantouragh, Kilmurry, Kilcusnaun, Ballymaadam, Lissataggle, Killeens, Mount Nicholas, Ashill, Ballyseedy, Ballymacelligott, Ballinorig, Rathanny Chute Hall, Clogher, Ballineedora, Ballydwyer, Caherbreagh, Kilquane, Cloghavoola, Tralee and surrounding areas that as part of network improvement works being delivered in Kerry there may be disruption to water supply from Wednesday 26th October 7pm to Thursday 27th October 7am and Thursday 27th from 7pm to Friday 28th at 7am.

During these essential works, homes and businesses in the above areas area may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages. Following the completion of improvement works; water supply may take 2-3 hours to return as water refills the network. Work crews will endeavour to complete works ahead of time to expedite the return of supply to the affected areas.

To facilitate safe delivery of the works there is a need implement temporary traffic management and to operate under a local road closure. The road closure granted by Kerry County Council will be in place until works are completed. During a planned road closure, local and emergency access will always be maintained. Diversion routes will be in place and clearly sign posted.

Uisce Éireann understands this type of work can be inconvenient and will ensure our work crews make every effort to minimise any disruption these works may cause.
