Essential works to take place from Wednesday at Dunshaughlin Water Tower to safeguard the water supply for customers
Works to take place from 8am on Wednesday until 7am on Thursday
Irish Water and Meath County Council would like to advise customers that essential cleaning works are scheduled to take place at Dunshaughlin Water Tower from 8am on Wednesday, 11 September until 7am on Thursday, 12 September 2019. Irish Water is working closely with Meath County Council to minimize any potential impact on customers. During these essential works the water supply to homes and businesses will be maintained, however customers in Dunshaughlin and surrounding areas may experience slightly lower water pressure than usual.
Areas that may be impacted
Areas that may be impacted by lower water pressure include Dunshaughlin town, Lagore, Leshamstown, Redbog, Rackenstown, Powderlough, Growtown, Mooretown, Porterstown, Rathbeggan, Raynestown and surrounding areas.
Following the completion of the works at the plant it may take a number of hours for normal water supply to resume for all customers.
Irish Water would like to thank customers for their patience while we carry out these essential works. For more information, visit our Water Supply Updates section. Our customer care helpline is open 24/7 at 1850 278 278 or customers can contact us on Twitter @IWCare.
