Works will safeguard the water supply for the area
Irish Water in partnership with Louth County Council wish to advise customers that watermains flushing will be carried out in Clogherhead from Tuesday 4 June 2019 until Tuesday 14 June. Flushing of the watermains will help to safeguard the water supply and will improve the quality of the water supply in the area.
Residents may experience disruption to supply
During these essential planned works homes and businesses in the area may experience intermittent disruption to their water supply such as low pressure or temporary discolouration of their water supply. The following areas may be impacted; Cruisetown, Mayne, Dales, Callystown, Clogher Village, Glaspistol, Almondstown, Dardisrath, Ganderstown, Duffsfarm, Termonfeckin, Newtown, Baltray, Beaulieu, Newtownstalaban, Betaghstown and surrounding areas.
We wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential works that are necessary to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in Clogherhead.
