Essential works affecting water supply in Mayfield, Boherboy and surrounding areas of Cork City
Planned water supply outage in Mayfield, Boherboy, Lotamore, Lotabeg and surrounding areas
Essential leakage repair works are being carried out in Cork City tomorrow night that will require a planned water supply outage in Mayfield, Boherboy, Lotamore, Lotabeg and surrounding areas. Water supply to customers may be impacted as these repair works are carried out between 11pm on Thursday night (30 April) and 5am on Friday morning (01 May).
These works will reduce water leakage in Cork City and are being carried out overnight to minimise disruption to customers in the area.
Customers may experience water discolouration, low pressure, or water outages for short periods while the essential works are underway. Normal water supply should have returned to all customers impacted 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time (5am).
Irish Water and Cork City Council would like to thank customers for their patience as this essential work is completed.
Irish Water is working at this time, with our local authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of drinking water and wastewater services.
