Potential odour while works are being carried out

Irish Water is to carry out essential operational works (a planned screenings skip removal) at the Murrough Pumping Station on Monday 26th August 2019. During this time there is a possibility of intermittent odours from the plant.

Protocols amended to reduce potential odours

Protocols for the routine removal of skips have recently been reviewed and amended to help reduce the potential for the generation of odours arising from such activities on site. We will take all possible steps to minimise the risk of odours, and complete the works as quickly as possible.

We would like to apologise for any odours that arise while the work is being carried out. If odour issues are noted please contact the our Call Centre on Callsave 1850 278 278.
