Emergency repairs are underway impacting supply to some customers in Louth
Customers may experience low pressure and/or outages
Irish Water is working in partnership with Louth County Council to carry out emergency repairs on water mains impacting supply to customers in Carrickmullan and surrounding areas.
While works are ongoing customers in Carrickmullan, Castlering, Mullaboy, Crossabeagh, Cortial, Annagh, Knockcor, Dunbin, Tates and Carran, Little Mills, Thomastown, Ballybarrack and surrounding areas may experience disruptions to their water supply.
What is involved?
Customers may experience low pressure and/or outages today, Wednesday 6 May, until 6pm and again tomorrow between 9am and 6pm. It may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers following completion of the repairs.
Irish Water and Louth County Council understands the inconvenience caused when emergency works occur and thanks customers for their patience while we complete these essential repairs and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Louth County Council regret any inconvenience caused.
Irish Water is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services.
