Elphin and surroundings areas may experience water supply issues today due to electrical outage
Customer's supply may be impacted as a result of an electrical outage
Irish Water and Roscommon County Council wish to advise customers in Elphin Town, Shankhill Cross, Ballyroddy and surrounding areas in Co Roscommon that their water supply may be impacted as a result of an electrical outage between 10am and 2pm today, Thursday, May 28.
It is expected that electricity will be restored in the area by 2pm but some customers may experience water supply issues until that time.
Irish Water understands the inconvenience when an outage occurs and thanks customers for their patience while these necessary works are carried out by ESB Networks.
Irish Water is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services.
