Dundalk watermains works commencing on Monday 20 May
Water mains flushing helps safeguard water supply and improve water quality
Irish Water in partnership with Louth County Council wish to advise customers that essential watermains flushing will be carried out in The Ault Bridge, St Johns Bridge and Castletown areas intermittently from 8.30am Monday 20 May until 6pm on Friday 24 May.
Flushing of the water mains will help to safeguard the water supply and will improve the quality of the water supply in the area. During these essential planned works homes and businesses in the area may experience intermittent disruption to their water supply such as low pressure or temporary discolouration of their water supply. The areas affected are as follows; Newtownbalregan, Castletown, Balriggan, Stranacarry, Carrickedmond, Annies, Ballynahattin and Glebe.
Irish Water wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused by these essential works that are necessary to safeguard the water supply for homes and businesses in the area.
