Irish Water and Dublin City Council wishes to advise customers in parts of North Dublin that they may be experiencing interruptions to their water supply following a major burst on a water main yesterday. The burst occurred on a trunk water main near the airport.

The repair on the burst water main was complex and Irish Water can confirm that the repair was completed this morning.

Those impacted will experience low pressure and some customers on the extremities of the network or on higher ground may experience water outages.

The water supply is beginning to be restored to all customers. Full water service may take some time to return as water refills the network.

The areas impacted include; Airfield; Santry; Coolock; Darndale; Clonshaugh; Donaghmede; Ballgriffin; Artane; Killester and surrounding areas.

Irish Water understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Dublin City Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
