Customers in Ballyjamesduff affected by power outage

Uisce Éireann is working with Cavan County Council to restore normal water supply to customers impacted by a power outage at the Ballyjamesduff Water Treatment Plant.

Uisce Éireann customers in Ballyjamesduff, Kilnaleck, Mountnugent, Ballinagh and the CMM Group Water Scheme may be impacted by reduced water pressure and water outages until works are complete. A full water supply is expected to be restored to all customers overnight.

Operations Lead for Uisce Éireann, Peter Gallagher, said: “Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when power outages occurs. We are liaising with the ESB and we would like to thank impacted customers in advance for their patience. Normal water supply will be restored as quickly as possible.
