Burst pipe affecting water supply in Lixnaw and surrounding areas in Kerry
Customers may experience water discolouration, low pressure, or water outages for short periods
A burst pipe may be affecting the water supply of customers in the Ballyhorgan, Kilcarragh and Lixnaw areas today. Irish Water and Kerry County Council are working to repair the burst pipe and estimate that water supply will be restored later this afternoon.
Customers may experience water discolouration, low pressure, or water outages for short periods while the essential works are underway. Customers should allow 2-3 hours after the estimated restoration time for their supply to return fully.
Irish Water and Kerry County Council would like to thank customers for their patience as this work is completed.
Irish Water is working at this time, with our local authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of drinking water and wastewater services.
