Bathing Water Notice lifted at Rush South Beach
Notice lifted following samples taken Monday 25 June 2018
The Do Not Swim Notice has been lifted Rush South Beach as of Wednesday, 27 June Separately a bathing water restriction is in place at Rush South Beach for the entire 2018 bathing season due to poor water quality following the 2017 bathing season
A do not swim notice has been lifted at Rush South Beach following water samples taken on Monday, 25 June 2018. The results for sampling carried out on 25/06/18 for Rush South Beach were of excellent quality status.
Following advice from the HSE the Bathing Water Notice has been lifted at Rush South Beach following a malfunction of the pumps which caused an over flow at East Shore/ Tower Road on the 22 June 2018.
Separately a bathing prohibition is in place for the entire 2018 bathing season at Rush South beach due to general water quality, however, the Environmental Protection Agency have instructed Fingal County Council to continue to declare incidents at this beach whenever they occur.
