  • Treatment plant will be located in Arthurstown
  • Plant will also serve the areas of Ballyhack and Duncannon

Boil Water Notice lifted with immediate effect for customers supplied by the Wexford Town Public Water Scheme

This follows the completion of remedial measures and the receipt of satisfactory monitoring results.

  • Notice was in place since Thursday, 10 December
  • Lifting will benefit approximately 21,760 customers
  • All customers can resume normal use of water supply

Irish Water and Wexford County Council working to complete repairs to a burst water main in Gorey

Burst water main is affecting supply to up to 4,000 people in the area.

  • Raithin Cuilin, Hollyfort Road, Fort Road and surrounds affected
  • Supply is expected to return by 8pm
  • Customers may experience low water pressure and discolouration of supply
