24 hour watermain improvement works will take place on Vevay Road in Bray until Friday
Currently installing 950 metres of new water mains along Vevay Road
Irish Water wish to advise customers in Vevay Road, Bray that, as part of ongoing leak repair works, 24 hour works will be taking place in the area until Friday, 5 July.
We are currently installing 950 metres of new water mains along Vevay Road and installing new service connections from the new water main to customers’ properties. 24 hour works are being carried out in order to minimise the duration of the works, and reduce day time disruption while these essential works take place. Replacing old water mains and service connections will reduce the instances of bursts and water outages and will safeguard the supply of water to customers and local businesses in the area.
Works scheduled to be completed by end of July
We understand this type of work can be inconvenient and will ensure our work crews make every effort to minimise any disruption these works may cause. We would like to thank the local community for their patience during the delivery of these improvement works. The works are scheduled to be completed by the end of July.
Customers can call our customer helpline on 1850 278 278 for any questions in relation to the works.
Part of our national Leakage Reduction Programme
These works are being carried out as part of our national Leakage Reduction Programme which will, over the next 4 years, see €500 million invested to reduce the level of leakage across the country by fixing and replacing ageing water mains. This will ensure a safe, reliable water supply which is vital for our health, our environment and our growing population and economy.
