Green-Schools Water Poster Competition
The annual poster competition, run by An Taisce Green-Schools in partnership with Irish Water, is open to all schools currently participating in the Water Theme of the Green-Schools Programme. This is the fifth year we have sponsored the competition and last year over 3,000 entries were received.
Now in its sixth year, the aim of the competition is to recognise the individual student’s creativity through art and design. Irish Water's continued support of the competition offers students a chance to win a cash prize for their school and a tablet computer.
This year’s poster theme is ‘Conserve Water’ and the competition is open to all primary and secondary schools working towards, or have already completed, the Water theme. Green-Schools are looking for innovative and creative designs which promote, inspire and identify ideas around water conservation.
Each of the 3 National Category winners will receive €500 for their school, to be spent by their Green-Schools committee as they see fit.
Each of the 12 Regional winners will be awarded a tablet computer to the value of €250, (student prize).
Individual National winners will also receive a professionally mounted and framed version of their poster.
Winners are announced at the Green-Schools Award Ceremony each year. Visit www.greenschoolsireland.org for full terms and conditions.
