The Asset Management function is primarily responsible for strategic planning, prioritisation, and development of Uisce Éireann’s Capital Works pipeline. The function plays a key role in promoting collaboration and co-ordination of activities across the three asset functions as well as providing environmental modelling, assessment and management expertise across Uisce Éireann.

Reporting to the Water Resource Strategy Lead, the Water Licencing & Authorisation Lead is responsible for the overall end-to-end management of the abstraction licencing and authorisation in addition to overseeing the authorisation process of all existing and proposed abstractions to ensure Uisce Éireann meets its legislative requirements.

The successful candidate will establish collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders such as the EPA, IFI and NPWS and to inform and influence emerging guidelines and regulations.
