The Workflow Management function within Uisce Éireann is accountable for the efficient bundling and progression of work orders nationally for Uisce Éireann, Local Authorities and external service providers. The team provide work and data management capability supporting execution of field activities across Asset Operations, Asset Delivery, CDS and other programmes. Responsibilities include managing customer related escalations, outage / incident management support and systems training for Uisce Éireann field - based teams.

The Road Opening License team is responsible for managing administrative aspects of road opening licence progression from initiation through to completion for Asset Operations works across the road network. In addition, the team are responsible for managing and monitoring all mandatory notifications required for road works to enable the progression of programmes and to limit any resultant liabilities.

The Road Opening Licence Lead reports to the Workflow Manager and will work closely with counterparts from Uisce Éireann, Local Authorities, RMO and third party agents regarding the operation and maintenance of effective ROL processes and systems. In particular, the team will support the activities of the recently established Roads and Utilities function within Asset Operations. The ROL Lead will ensure openings / licence records are captured and maintained in line with the obligations of a statutory licence holder and will make certain all rules around the 'T' model licence process are adhered to and managed effectively. The role holder will provide effective leadership to a team of ROL analysts.
