The Customer & Economic Regulation area within Uisce Éireann, is responsible for setting and managing regulation governance and policy, and for interacting with key stakeholders to influence regulation and legislation in relation to Uisce Éireann. The area will work closely with the Uisce Éireann Leadership Team, senior managers and the other Strategy and Regulation areas, to develop and support the embedding of regulatory decisions and practices within Uisce Éireann.

Reporting to the Regulation Operations Manager, the Regulatory Planning and Reporting Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the economic regulatory work plan. The Regulatory Planning and Reporting Specialist works across the Customer and Economic Regulation team to produce plans for each project, and ensures the overall regulatory programme is aligned across resource, cost, and schedule constraints. This role also coordinates the production of all Customer and Economic Regulation reports and undertakes reviews to ensure consistency and alignment with Uisce Éireann regulatory strategy.

This role also manages the Economic Regulation Project Coordinator, implementing effective processes for producing project and team documentation such as risk and issue logs, meeting records etc.
