The Corporate Affairs Directorate has a clear purpose: To strengthen Uisce Éireann's reputation and be a trusted advisor and practitioner to ensure that Uisce Éireann achieves its Corporate Strategy and Business outcomes. Our approach is to ensure we provide integrated communications advice and solutions to the business and ensure we focus our communications effort on the right target audiences and channels with clearly defined measurables and outcomes.

The Directorate has overall responsibility for brand strategy, market research and insights, marketing and digital marketing (websites and social media strategy), and working across teams to align corporate affairs, public relations and crisis management, project communications, stakeholder communications, sponsorships, media relations and internal communications.

The Media Relations function is responsible for planning and delivering an integrated media and regional communications strategy for Uisce Éireann. The function includes regional communications teams who manage relationships with local/regional media and regional/ local stakeholders; they also work closely with the regional operations teams and drive the implementation of the stakeholder partnership plans on a regional and local level.

Reporting to the Regional Communications Manager the Regional Communications Lead will have responsibility for managing two Regional Communications Specialists driving the implementation of critical stakeholder engagement initiatives, operational communications including incident and outage management, playing a critical role in the management of crisis communications and supporting project communications.

They will work closely across the wider Corporate Affairs Directorate and across the Uisce Éireann organisation with key stakeholders and senior managers to deliver a high-impact communications approach that combines forward planning and strategic thinking to deliver a team strategy that outlines the communications vision, priorities and ways of working for the full Regional Communications Team.
