The Asset Management and Sustainability area is responsible for the development of asset policies, strategies and plans to determine the significant investment required into Ireland's infrastructure. The area drives investment and the sustainability and innovation agenda for the organisation and leads on Environmental Regulation and Compliance activities, ensuring the quality of water and wastewater is continuously monitored.

The Head of Sustainability and Innovation is charged with developing and leading the enterprisewide approach and delivery of the Corporate Sustainability and Innovation agenda to ensure Uisce Éireann achieves its target of becoming a sustainability exemplar. The role holder will be expected to develop and implement appropriate strategies to ensure Uisce Éireann not only maintains pace with sustainability goals and innovation in the industry, but becomes a leader in the drive for and adoption of appropriate standards and solutions. Embedding innovation and sustainability into the DNA and culture of the organisation will be the key challenge for the role holder who will also be accountable for the Standards team performance and help the business to drive value through our key processes.

Reporting to the Asset Management & Sustainability Director, the Head of Sustainability and Innovation will be a key member of the senior management team and will be a catalyst for the organisation to deliver on our key strategic objectives.

While we are happy to consider candidates who can work on a hybrid basis from our office across the Republic of Ireland, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will require regular attendance in Dublin.
