The Wastewater Research Project Manager is responsible for delivering large innovation project(s) on behalf of Irish Water. These innovation projects are being initiated with a view to proving long term benefit to Irish Water through the realisation of capital and operational expenditure efficiencies. The role will manage these project(s) to ensure stated objectives and milestones are met, while reporting to the business and external project partners.

The Wastewater Research Project Manager reports to the Wastewater Treatment Asset Planning Specialist, and will work with a team of wastewater and innovation specialists.

This role sits within the Asset Planning function within Irish Water. The Wastewater Asset Planning team is responsible for the development and management of wastewater strategies that enable safe and sustainable wastewater services to meet planned needs and serviceability standards effectively at lowest whole life cost. The team also appraise new treatment processes and integrate these into the asset base.
