The Operational Efficiency and Contract Management Team, within the Asset Operations function of Irish Water, is accountable for all operational contracts activities within Irish Water, including Goods and Services, DBO and SLA. The remit includes overall budget management, development of the function's capabilities as Irish Water grows, and the performance of operations within this area.

Many of Irish Water’s obligations continue to be delivered through the local authorities under a Service Level Agreement (SLA). The SLA Commercial function will have overall accountability for the execution, variation and monitoring of the SLA arrangements with the local authorities.

Reporting to the Central SLA Manager, the Regional SLA Manager will monitor the local authorities’ financial and non-financial performance against their Service Level Agreements and drive areas for Continuous Improvement, Expenditure Optimisation and Revenue Growth within the region. This role will ensure that Irish Water effectively and efficiently oversees the SLA agreements.
