The Environmental Regulation function is responsible for setting and managing environmental regulation governance and policy within Irish Water and for interacting with key stakeholders such as the EPA, HSE and IFI. The function works closely with the Irish Water Management team and Ervia Group Strategy, to develop and support the embedding of environmental regulatory decisions and practices within Irish Water. The function also monitors, tracks and reports on the compliance status of Irish Water Assets to both internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Wastewater Lead, the Environmental Governance and Coordination Analyst will be responsible for supporting the governance structures for environmental regulation in Irish Water. They will also be responsible for coordinating and administering environmental regulation tasks in particular where these relate to reporting to the Environmental Regulator and Senior Management. The Environmental Governance and Coordination Analyst will work closely with the Environmental Regulation &Compliance Manager, the Wastewater Compliance Lead and Drinking Water Compliance Lead.
