The Alarm and Events Management Analyst will be responsible for supporting the establishment of the National Operations Management Centre and supporting the handling, assessment and triage of incoming alarms on Irish Water’s plant and network to identify the appropriate responses to address these alarms. The Alarm and Events Management Analyst will also support the establishment and running of the IW National Telemetry System.

The Alarm and Events Management Analyst will report to the Alarm and Events Management Specialist. The role will work with the Regional Operational teams to ensure a safe and effective network.

The Alarm and Events Management Analyst has a national remit and will be responsible for supporting improvements in service delivery through the completion of a range of both proactive and reactive activities with a focus on ensuring the potential for service impact is minimised. The National Operations Management Centre will be moving to 24/7/365 operations therefore working hours for this role will be on a shift rotation basis.
